Bridgewater's Road to Williamsport: A&A Metro Proud to Support the 2026 Little League World Series Run
This summer, Bridgewater's own 12U baseball team achieved every young ballplayer's dream when they qualified to represent New England in the 2026 Little League World Series. It's the kind of moment a town doesn't forget — and A&A Metro Transportation was honored to play a part in helping get this incredible group of players where they needed to go.
A Championship Run Built Game by Game
The team found great success at the local level, and as they advanced through divisional championships they earned their spot in the Little League World Series. It was a summer of clutch pitching, timely hitting, and the kind of cameraderie and team chemistry that turns a good roster into a great one.
In early August, one team from each New England state faced off in the 2026 LLB New England Region Tournament. Bridgewater wasted no time making a statement. In the first of their games, they beat Maine 7 to 0 in their afternoon game, and later beat Vermont 11 to 1 in a dominant start that showed the rest of the region exactly what they were up against. In their last game of the tournament, the team scored 8 runs in a shutout victory against Maine to advance to the next stage of the LLBWS, sealing their spot as New England's representative.
From Bridgewater to Williamsport
With the regional title secured, the team prepared to head to Williamsport, Pennsylvania — home of the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series. For a group of 12-year-olds, that trip is more than a road trip; it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and getting the team, coaches, and support staff there safely and on schedule matters just as much as anything that happens on the field.
A&A Metro Transportation was proud to drive the team and their parents all the way to Williamsport, providing motor coach transportation for the trip down. Rather than splitting families up across personal vehicles or commercial flights, the team and their support system traveled together in comfortable, full-size motor coaches — the kind of shared experience that turns a long drive into part of the memory itself. From boarding in Bridgewater to arrival in Williamsport, our goal was the same one we bring to every trip: take the travel stress off everyone's plate so the moment can be about the team.
